Keon’s Candle Vigil Memorial Fundraiser
Annually, on November 15, we will hold a virtual candle lighting vigil fundraiser on Keon’s birthday. This will not only honor the light he was in this world, but also support our cause. You may do this at any time that is best for you on that date.
How to participate:
1. Choose one of the following Donations: (donations will be open one week prior to the event)
*10.00: light a candle for Keon specifically
*10.00: light a candle to support the cause
*10.00: light a candle for a young man you lost due to a mental health crisis
*11:00: light a candle for Keon and someone you’ve lost due to a mental health crisis
20.00: light 3 candies. 1 for Keon, one for his mom and her side of the family, and 1 for his dad and his side of the family.
* if you would like to light more than one candle for these purposes or due to multiple young men you’ve lost to a mental health crisis, please add 1.00 to your donation for each candle.
*open donation: donation of any amount to support the cause
2. Light your candle or candles, take a picture and post it on your social media platforms with a description of who or why you are lighting your candle for and include these hashtags: #lightsforKeon #thekeonjenkinsfoundation #nationalallianceformentalhealth
****if large groups gather for the vigil follow the same process and try to get larger group photos!
