Mental heath is the foundation of the mind, body and spirit. It must be at the forefront; everything an individual is and will become begins and ends with mental heath. As an educator, I strive to meet the unique needs of our youths mental heath before academics. As a mother, I take the steps necessary to support the needs of my own child, who continues to battle with their own mental heath. As a community until we understand that mental heath is the foundation of every individual; we are failing generations to come.
Youth Mental Health Advocate: Alex Carrington
Principal in TN. Keon’s former teacher. Mom of one.
